The blog used to focus simply on nation branding when I first started it in January 2011. Now, it covers branding of not just nations, but of cities and holiday destinations across the world.

Mostly, the blog brings you cases of successful and unsuccessful place branding campaigns, which are also closely linked to both marketing communications and public diplomacy. Besides, the lab presents the news on the conferences, events, and forums about the topic and discusses what place branding professionals have to say about the discipline.

Nation Branding Lab is yet a small community and will continue to be a work in progress as I am currently exploring the field myself. However, I hope it grows to be a window into this still developing field of place branding that will soon become so much more dynamic and essential in the near future.
